Arizona, New Mexico and Texas probably aren’t the first thing that you think about when you are considering what wine to buy.  You probably think about the desert and how hot and dry it is here. But there are many wineries in all three states. There are grapes that actually like that climate and thrive.

Most people come here for the scenery, and we have pleanty of that. The Grand Canyon National Park is truly one of the most amazing things you will ever see.  You also have to see the Petrified Forest and Carlsbad Caverns National Park.  One of my personal favorites is the often overlooked Big Bend National Park in Texas.  It is georgous and you will not have to fight the crowds at all here.

Comments are left pretty open.  I have to approve the first two manually because of spam.  If anyone has any updated information, the place to put that is on the individual winery page.  I’ll get a notification about it and take a look.  I don’t allow spam, but if any of the wineries would like to post event information or sales, that’s fine by me.  Just do it on the page for your winery.

This site has been around for several years.  It’s always a work in progress but that’s especially true now.  I had the site hacked, and then it was accidentally deleted by my hosting company.  I’ll get the information back up.  Everyone needs to realize that information might be dated and you ought to check with the actual vineyard if it’s really important that it is current.
